Growing Tips & Maintenace
- Grows best in a moist to wet soil, in full sun. Spreading by rhizomes and above-ground runners, this plant can be weedy or invasive.
Additional Notes
- Native to Ontario A hybrid cross between M. aquatica x M. spicata. Peppermint oils are used in flavouring chewing gum, toothpaste and mouthwash. It is also used for culinary and medicinal purposes and in fragrances.
