About Christina Voortman
I am Christina Joy, a 19-year-old ceramic artist who grew up and resides in the countryside of Flamborough/Waterdown. Another hobby and passion of mine is horseback riding, so much so that my current studio is on a horse farm where I create local handmade ceramics. I discovered my love for pottery at the age of 12, captivated by the tactile nature of clay and the endless possibilities it offered for creative expression.
Driven by my desire to create functional art pieces that infuse joy into everyday life, I pour my heart and soul into each piece I craft. With meticulous attention to detail and a keen eye for design, I bring my visions to life on the pottery wheel, blending form and function seamlessly.
As I continue to hone my skills and explore new techniques, Joy Pottery remains a testament to my boundless creativity and passion for the craft. With each firing of the kiln, I invite you to experience the joy of pottery, one piece at a time.
